Crazy English Majors

It was time to say good bye.  The other SMs were heading back to Bangkok, and Leah and I were staying in Chiang Mia for a few more days.
We were going to have some fun of our own!  But, it was very sad to say good bye to them!  We missed them so much!  We said goodbye to them as they rode in a red taxi to the local train station.
Leah and I went crazy on our own.  There are plenty of used book stores in Chiang Mia, so Leah and I took off and spent too much time in money there.  We searched for every
possible used bookstore.  I was
desperate to find as many books as I could in the 'Less than 100 Baht' sections... which is 3 dollars or less.  Yay!  I found plenty of books to last me for a very very long time.  I was very happy with myself!

So, Leah and I were our typical selves: drinking coffee and browsing through tons of used book stores.  We were completely content with roaming the city and doing crazy poses in front of people that looked at us as if we were purple people.  Oh well, I'll never see them again.  We were obsessed to see as much of the city as possible before we left.  We trekked fr
om the northern part to the southern part without even knowing it! There were lots of beautiful Temples, they looked so different from the ones in Ubon or Bangkok.  The temples in C.M. appeared more decorative with jeweled roofs and larger buildings.  Ubon's temples seem smaller and  more simple.  We gawked at every temple we passed.
